Can anyone from our business order our Security Edge registered keys ?
It isn’t just the key design that is restricted but who can order keys. When a Security Edge system is setup and initialised a security order form will also be provided. This allows you as the business to control who can request new keys. The security order form will let you name and authorise those with the rights to request and make key amendments.
Any staff member with a key is not able to have a key made. If their name is not on the approval list they will need to provide written authorisation stating that they are able to have a key cut. The dual security of a registered key design until 2034 combined with authorisation registration ensures your keys are secure.
